This past Wednesday, we hosted our first wine tasting cruise of the season with Wendy Koder of Wendy Talks Wine! Guests sampled five different wines, both white and red, while we cruised around the Nantucket Sound and saw some amazing views on the water.
Koder enjoys hosting these events and seeing the same faces back year after year. “There are some families that plan their annual Cape Cod vacations around my wine cruises. What keeps them coming back is the fact that it’s fun of course, but, it’s also educational.” she said. “You don’t just get to sample some wine, you learn about it’s origins, what temperature it should be served at, the wine making process, and so much more.”
Wine cruises have been some of our favorite events for the past six summers and we are proud to continue the tradition in 2015.

We’re also happy to announce that for the first time this year, we’ve partnered with Truro Vineyards and will have a representative pouring their wines aboard The Bay Spirit on Thursday July 16th at 5:30 pm. Tickets for this event are $35. One of our experienced tour guides will also point out the sights while we cruise around Hyannis!
